This what we notice in our puppy,: not eating or drinking or playing, as we were driving to the vet she was no5 able to hold her head up. I thought we were going o lose hr. We just lost our Westie this year,

Arrived at the vet, she received fluids and medicine that help her through reaction. Always take them to them to the vet…just takes minutes to loose a pet.

  1. I have asked my veterinarian about what are the facts about dogs that have bad reactions to vaccines. And he told me that the dogs that have an adverse reaction to vaccines are ones of any age and size who have a compromised immune system. But they have no way to know which pets have a weak immune system in advance of giving the vaccine. And even though a dog has been fine in the past after been given a vaccine, it’s possible that in the current moment in time, the dog’s immune system has become compromised since the last time he or she had a vaccine. That’s why my vet always calls me the next day after receiving a vaccine to ask hoe my dog (or cat) is feeling.

    1. It was scary for us, we lost our little girl Sadie ! Then we get Abbie and thought losing her at young age was going to cause such sadness. So glad we had a great vet to take us in right way. They treated her with fluids and antibiotics plus probiotics…she came out of fast,we love her so much!

      1. I’m so sorry for your pain losing Sadie! I have been there too many times starting when I was 12 years when my 1 year old male cat died from a urinary track infection. This was before the internet and my parents didn’t know about diet and preventing this from happening. The next cat died from leukaemia at age 7. When I was 20 years old. The pain went on with my pets that I loved and lost along over the years…from old age. It never gets easy. But I am relieved that Abbie pulled through from this reaction to the vaccine!! My dog that I currently cherish is luckily, a vibrant, playful, mischievous, 13 year old mini poodle. And I am so grateful to wake up to her bouncing around asking for breakfast! Thank you for sharing your story.
