Abbie had busy weekend

2-28-2020 Abby went to day camp at Pet Wellness in Marion, she loves to visit her fur friends and her peeps. She gets in the truck on Fridays that she going to be playing with her friends. This is great way for to like people and other dogs. It gets her use that visiting is a positive outlook, instead she thinks she going to the vet. She does like the vet and doesn’t think anything about.

Today was her grooming day too, she well known at Pet Wellness, everyone is so positive. That one thing to that you want to be positive, I don’t she any concerns about what we are doing. Stay positive!

Afterwards I take her home and she relaxes rest of the day. She is usually tired and will nap off and on.

Saturday we go looking for awhile to Crab Orchard Wildlife to take photos. Took few photos of Ground hog, birds. Nothing out, few dear out range so we head back home.

Things we take with us; dog food, water , her treats. We have a owl in the truck and are bowl and towel.

Tips on keeping her clean

Wiping her paws off after she goes outside. This is a good thing to do to check she having any problems in this are. Also by getting her use to it when they groom her she ok with them trim the hair between her paws.

Her hair brushed daily, she doesn’t seem have any odor to her. I brush her teeth and wipe her wipes that non alcohol ones. 5he has tear stains and was told to use stilled water.

Shitzu poodle personality

My experience with our little Abbie , she very friendly with everyone we have met! She loves attention and fun loving pup, Abbie will high five, sits, stays and broke very easy. She will cuddle with you or she loves to watch tv. I noticed her watching tv for about 30 minutes at a time.

Abbie very enteric pup, she will run the whole house at top speed then will lay down to sleep awhile. It funny to watch her, she has certain way she run.

When she was smaller she would run under the couch and come out running. Now she not able to do this as she grown so bigger.

Potty training

We started taking her out every 30 minutes to hour or after play, eating, and sleeping. She go to the back door but very quiet about and have occasional accident. I put a bell up and giggle every time she wanted go out. Within that day she started ring that bell with her paw. No accidents after that!

Abbie Lynn Our Shitzu Poo

Start with groom our Shitzu Poo, Abbie hair when first grow out first time was mainly straight. Easy to comb out, no shedding except few come thru with the first combing of her hair. After few weeks we notice some her hair start curl like a poodle.

As you can see she either her hair is starting to get wavy, then the hair would get like tangle close to her skin. Daily combing start some days twice, when weather change to rain her hair got more curly. So she is comb on daily bases, get few curly hair would coming out. She has mor poodle than shitzu in her hair. She not as curly as poodle but she inherited trait of not shedding on furniture or floor. So it depends on the puppy what happens with the hair.
